What is NDA exam?
One of the most coveted defence examinations in the nation, the NDA exam is conducted to choose applicants for admission to the National Defence Academy. To choose qualified male and female candidates, the exam is conducted twice a year. Both an SSB interview and a written exam are part of the NDA exam selection process.
What is National Defence Academy?
Khadakwasla, Pune, Maharashtra, India is home to the National Defence Academy (NDA). It is the first tri-color academy to train cadets for the Army, Navy, and Air Forces who are both male and female. Upon graduation from the NDA, candidates receive training at the Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy, or Indian Military Academy, depending on their service academy.
The NDA gives its cadets extensive training to get them ready for the demands of the armed forces. Academic instruction, physical fitness, and leadership development are all part of the training. The cadets receive physical training to improve their strength and endurance in addition to a demanding curriculum covering a wide range of subjects.
NDA Eligibility
To be eligible for the exam, candidates must meet the following NDA eligibility requirements:
NDA Age Limit
Male and female candidates must have been born between July 2, 2005, and July 1, 2008, in order to sit for the NDA 1 exam. Only single candidates who were born between January 2, 2006, and January 1, 2009, are eligible to take the NDA 2 exam.
